That is a superb still life! You have achieved a lovely, ethereal quality with the processing.

Thanks Graham! I used a “hard light” layer to increase contrast, but…a lot of the effect came from the actual shot! A slow handheld zoom with natural kitchen daylight and a “second curtain” on-camera flash. (That’s flash at the end of the shot rather than the beginning, apologies if you already know!) The zoom gives that nice ethereal flare and the flash keeps it sharp at the end despite the handholding.
I’ve just checked the exif: 2 seconds at f29.
