A rare foray into colour! Got myself a “new” second-hand lens yesterday – an old Tokina 28mm prime. Gives me 42mm equivalent on my Nikon. Twist that polariser and whack up that saturation!

Almost surreal in your vivid use of colour, which almost feels 3D like in it’s intensity. Very nicely done…love how the composition pulls you right into the scene.

Thanks. The light on the grass is falling just right. The DOF of field makes it look almost like a patch of grass stuck in front of a backdrop, I think.
I’m pleased with it – it’s different from my usual stuff. The lens was a bargain, by the way – £22 including a leather case.
